An Online Cook & Yarn Workshop Series for Everyone

Sovereign native bushfoods, traditional ecological knowledges and food-gathering practices from across the many First Nations of Australia have existed for thousands of years, but their central tenet of respecting nature and its bounty have never been as timely as they are now.

This series of workshops will explore how we can cook simple, imaginative, nutritious, family friendly recipes. They will hero a regionally diverse bounty of native ingredients from the land, sea, lakes and rivers across Australia.

You'll be able to prepare on your own when the time is right.

Watch, Cook and Yarn in virtual sessions and explore a variety of dishes fused with delicious and nutritious sovereign native foods of Australia while yarning about an assortment of health, nutrition, food systems, sustainability, biodiversity and seasonality tips and topics.

A lover of two-way learning and sharing of delicious flavours and the nutritional benefits of bushfoods native to Australia.

Tracy Hardy, of Wattleseed Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing, is a Gamilaroi woman, an award-winning and well-respected Accredited Nutritionist/Practising Dietitian, Licensed Wayapa Wuurrk Facilitator, Permaculture Design Certified, Diploma Qualified Beauty Therapist and a Licensed Lead Facilitator, under We Al-Li's Sovereign Business Model, of Culturally Informed Trauma Integrated Care, Practice and Healing Training, .

Tracy is passionate about supporting people in self-determining their health and wellbeing. She is a lover of two-way learning and sharing the delicious flavours and nutritional benefits of sovereign foods native to Australia; how we can use them and honour their diverse cultural roots. She is also an advocate for the rights to food sovereignty and the deep value of protecting traditional ecological knowledges, Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property and our collective Mother Earth.

This series of workshops are interactive which means you or your family of organisation can join me to cook together live online with Tracy!

Created for anyone who has an interest in bushfoods native to Australia, cooking at home and nutritional health and wellbeing information from an Accredited Nutritionist/Practising Dietitian.

This series of workshops will explore how we can cook simple, imaginative, nutritious, family friendly recipes.

They will hero a regionally diverse bounty of  sovereign native ingredients from the lands, seas, lakes and rivers across Australia. You'll be able to prepare on your own when the time is right. Watch Tracy prepare one or several recipes.

All you need is the Zoom App, a tablet/smartphone/computer, stable Internet connection and an email address.

You will be provided the recipe and the hero ingredient prior to the session, so you can try cooking along with Tracy or make her recipes when you have time at a later date.

Up to 100 people may join a session.
